Survivor Trust

This trust is the continuation of the revocable trust after the death of the first spouse to die. It usually contains the surviving spouse's share of the couple's community property and the surviving spouse's separate property. Even though one of the spouses is deceased, this trust is revocable and amendable. The surviving spouse has complete access to the income and principal in the survivors trust.
